Terms and Conditions for Customs Tariff portal

 

§ 1. General information

 
  1. These Terms and Conditions for Customs Tariff portal, hereinafter referred to as “Terms and Conditions”, govern the rules for the exchange of information between public entities and non-public entities referred to in the Act of 17 February 2005 on computerisation of the activities of entities performing public tasks (Journal of Laws of 2014, item. 1114).

  2. Customs Tariff portal is an information system of the National Revenue Administration, providing detailed information on customs tariffs related to foreign trade in goods.

  3. The portal is provided by the Head of the National Revenue Administration with registered office in Warsaw (00-916), Świętokrzyska 12.

  4. The Controller of data shall be the Head of the National Revenue Administration, hereinafter referred to as the “Controller".

 

§ 2. Definitions

 
  1. User — any person using the Customs Tariff portal.

 

§ 3. General conditions

 
  1. Use of the Customs Tariff portal is free of charge and does not require registration..

  2. In order to use the Customs Tariff portal correctly, it is necessary to ensure:

    1. Internet connection;

    2. web browser:

      • Google Chrome version 80.0.3987 or higher,

      • Mozilla FireFox version 74.0.1 or higher,

      • Microsoft Edge version 80.0.361;

    3. Operating System: Windows: 10, 8 or 7;

    4. enabled Java Script and so-called “cookies;

  3. The User is obliged to read the Terms and Conditions before using the Customs Tariff portal.

 

§ 4. Rights and obligations of the Controller

 
  1. The Controller is not responsible for the lack of access to the Customs Tariff portal for reasons beyond the control of the Controller.

  2. The Controller reserves the right to decide on the content of the Customs Tariff portal.

  3. The Controller makes every effort to ensure that the content of the Customs Tariff portal is up-to-date and reliable.

  4. For security reasons and for other important reasons beyond the control of the Controller, the Controller has the right to temporarily suspend users’ access to the Customs Tariff portal for the period necessary to eliminate the effects of circumstances undesirable to the Controller or users.

  5. The Controller undertakes to make every effort to eliminate illegal or incompatible activities of Users.

 

§ 5. Rights and obligations of the User

 

The User is obliged to use the Customs Tariff portal in a manner consistent with the applicable law and the provisions of these Terms and Conditions, including refraining from carrying out, as part of the use of services, any actions contrary to social, customs and generally applicable rules of use of the Internet.

 

§ 6. Protection of personal data

 

Customs Tariff portal does not process personal data.

 

§ 7. Final provisions

 
  1. The Terms and Conditions apply from 2021-01-01

  2. The Terms and Conditions are made available free of charge in a form that allows them to be downloaded, recorded and printed (using functionalities provided by the web browser).

  3. In matters not regulated by the Terms and Conditions, the provisions of the applicable law shall apply.

  4. The Terms and Conditions may be amended.

 

Supplementary information


The Controller informs that cookies are used in order to improve the quality of services and to test customer preferences. Cookies enable improving the quality of services by storing customer preferences. The Controller collects information from cookies for its own use. Cookies do not identify personal data and do not affect the functioning of the end device or its software. A cookie is a string of characters that is sent from Controller’s IT system to the user’s computer when the website browser is called up. Cookies may store user preferences and other information, with the condition that cookies are always accepted by the browser and not removed from the disk. You can change your browser settings to disable cookies or to indicate that cookie has been sent.
